ABOUT SAMANTHA

I am the proud Owner of StrongHarte Fitness, a wellness center for injury prevention.   As a Doctor of Physical Therapy and dancer, my immediate passion lies in restoring optimal function and movement in the human body.  As a spiritual seeker, my deeper passion lies in healing the broken parts of ourselves so that we can live a happy, joyous, and free life.   My facility is designed to be a one stop shop for health and wellness so that all of your healthcare needs are met under one roof.   We offer unique and vital healthcare services and provide the absolute highest quality of care.  Specifically, we offer physical therapy, massage therapy, Reiki, strength training, energy work, spiritual life coaching, dance therapy, pre and post natal fitness, and youth/adult injury prevention training.  Here at StrongHarte Fitness, we treat the entire person in order to help them build a solid foundation for a happy life.

Doctor Of Physical Therapy

Through extensive study of human anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics, I am able to evaluate, examine, diagnose and treat injuries as well as restore function for optimal motor control. My clinical experience includes rotations at Sports PT of NY, Columbia University, and Cedars Sinai. I graduated as a Doctor in Physical Therapy from Long Island University and currently practice on the west side of Los Angeles.

Fitness Coach

Imagine what it would be like to have your Doctor as your personal trainer. If I become your fitness coach, that is exactly what will happen. As a Doctor of Physical therapy, I begin all training sessions with a fitness assessment in order to determine baseline measurements in strength, balance, flexibility, range of motion and functional movement patterns. More importantly, I ask my clients about their fitness goals.

I I believe that letting go of our idea of what we think we should be is what sets us free to become the person we really are.”

STRONGHARTE FITNESS IS EXPANDING!

Season’s greetings everyone! StrongHarte Fitness would like to announce that it will be expanding in the New Year! Fortunately, the location is exactly the same, only there will be more space, more equipment and over time, a variety of health care practitioners subleasing the facility so that it becomes a one stop shop for health and wellness. There will be ongoing private strength and conditioning sessions as well as the addition of stretch and body work packages for current and future clientele. There will also be specialized group classes that are both essential to our health and longevity and currently unavailable in the healthcare market. Examples include youth injury prevention training, pre and post-natal stabilization, restorative stretch, meditation, dance therapy, and conditioning for the aging athlete. At its foundation, StrongHarte Fitness believes in only the highest quality of care. Therefore, all members will receive a fitness and wellness assessment by a Doctor of Physical Therapy prior to signing up for individual or class packages. Essentially, the idea is to service a larger audience so that the tools for injury prevention become accessible at any age.

Clients Testimonials

“Samantha is an excellent physical therapist. She’s kind and gentle, and even has a lovely sense of humor. I had hip replacement surgery. The hospital sent me home with a list of exercises. Samantha helped me understand why I was doing what I was doing and encouraged me. In addition to those exercises, she did “passive resistance,” whereby she moved my leg in various directions, but she did it all with no pain for me. I trust her judgment and her instructions. With Samantha’s amazingly able assistance, I can now walk again, normally and without pain. I highly recommend her.”

“I met and started working with Samantha for physical therapy treatments 5 months ago and recently began to utilize Samantha for personal training needs. I have found Samantha to be very knowledgable in the diagnosis and treatment of injuries, and to have been forward thinking in developing individual programs to build up my overall fitness and avoidance of future injuries. Samantha has employed a holistic approach in helping her clients and patients. I have been impressed with her thoughtfulness and thoroughness. I would highly recommend Samantha for physical therapy/personal training needs.”

Dan Cline58 years old

“I have had several physical therapists and I can honestly say that Sam is the best. I love that she always explains to me why we are doing a certain exercise and how it will help the injury and my body as a whole. Trying to fully heal post injury can be scary but she has given me confidence and all the right tools for a full recovery. She knows the right exercises specifically for you, and that knowledge helps you get stronger and in better shape without putting extra strain on your body. So whether you need a physical therapist or a personal trainer, Sam will help you get your body to where you want it. I whole heartedly recommend her!”

“Samantha is an extremely knowledgeable physical therapist who helped me learn much more about my body. She made PT a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and I would highly recommend Sam to anyone in need of physical therapy.”

I feel fortunate to have met Samantha, first as my physical therapist in recovery from hip replacement surgery and then as my trainer. Aside from her personality, her skills and abilities have made probably the most important difference. I’m 70. I have had a lifetime of sports, competitive tennis and squash, running, and biking. I have many physical issues – a bad back, several arthroscopies, and arthritis – but I refuse to stop playing sports. In all that rehab I have never met anyone with more uncanny ability to diagnose an issue and directly attack the problem with surprisingly fast results. Samantha has done this multiple times with different body parts. Maybe I’m getting senile, but I think I am in better shape as a tennis player today than I have ever been, due entirely to Samantha
